week 9 Teaching Media

            So well, in here about the conclusion, but for the first we should be know or flash back definition of media, according to Van Els et al. (1984), media are all aids which teachers and learners to attain certain educational objectives may use. So in my understanding is media are tool or guide when we coming in class to teach our student. Perhaps just used the white/black board and board marker in class but that’s we still that the media. But in here the teacher should be active or have innovative and creative to choose the media to make interesting in class. For example we use the laptop, or LCD. In here we don’t just focus on laptop, LCD but make the student keep focus on us, and keep see the LCD.  As long as we have Teaching Media subject we can know what the media can we use and keep make interesting. Before that I till remember out teacher use some picture of a Film and make them become like past tenses. There are 9 week we use blog to keep in our teacher subject, in blog itself the teacher gave us same material and should be comment every week. From the blog our teacher asks about how to use face book, email, and blog to use in teaching media. In addition, from above I will re tell a little bit about use facebook, email, and blog.
Facebook is a famous social network in this world. Everybody knows about this, we can make it as teaching media in reading skill. Especially when we want to teach about narrative or descriptive text, there are several steps how to use Facebook as teaching media in senior high school level.
1)      Teacher posts a material on Facebook first.
2)      Teacher asks student to turn their phone on
3)      Teacher asks them to open the Facebook.
4)      Teacher asks student to mention of language features from descriptive text first
5)      Ask student to read the text from Facebook posting by teacher.
6)      Ask student to analyze the type of text or generic structure,
7)      Teacher asks them to read aloud.
8)      Ask the student to find out the difficult words
9)      Teacher may chat and talk with his/her student during student in learning process. Although, the distance is far. It should be teach out of the class too.
10)  If the students get some difficulties from the material, they can ask a teacher from Facebook.
11)  Teacher make a question based on the student read
12)  Teacher asks them to write and reading text using English.
EMAIL
The purpose of using email in English teaching for knowing how far students understand about reading text. So, it will make us know about reading skill especially when we want to teach about procedure text and analytical text. There are several ways how to use email as the media in English teaching.
1)      Teacher gives to student about reading text such as procedure text, analytical text etc.
2)      Teacher explain how to use email
3)      Student know how to use email
4)      Student read the text from email
5)      Teacher asks them to reread and infer it with their own words
6)      Then if there is something wrong from student words.
7)      Teacher may correction via email too.
a)      Teacher make a question based on the student read
8)      And ask the other student to answer the question
Blog
Blog is one thing that famous in the internet too, many people use blog to share information. So, there are several advantages when we use blog as media in teaching. They are increasing vocabulary knowledge, reading strategies, and writing too. Especially, when we want to teach about reading poetry. There are several ways how to teach using blog:
1)      Teacher tells to student about the function of blog itself
2)      Teacher leads them to make blog too
3)      When the students have blog, the teacher asks them to write something from their blog dealing with the material which has been given by teacher.
4)      Teacher gives his blog address.
5)      Than teacher gives  about the writing and reading poetry from his blog
6)      Than. Student can give some comment about the material or the poetry from their teacher.
7)      Teacher can answer from student commentary.
8)      The teacher  must be controls or checks the student’s vocabulary use
9)      The teacher must pay attention to student and check the grammatical.
10)  It can be used for far distance.
            The conclusion is we have to choose more good to select the media, have to know what the advantages, or disadvantages because we are as the candidate of the teacher, and the purpose of them is when we going to PPL/KKN the basic from that we have to know so well.

            Firstly I was coming in Mataram in 2013 after graduating from high school 1 Soromandi in Bima. I medaftar go to college in the Teachers 'Training College Mataram I choose the english department of Teachers' Training College Mataram. Actually I have 2 chooses include Chemistry, and English Language, but IKIP Mataram accept me in English Department. I skip the first half with a lot of friends. Although from the beginning I did not know how their characters each. But with sall of the time course of time I recognize them well. From one semester to the 3rd semester we have a leader who is so responsible, smart, active, thoughtful and where we asked all about the English language because we are new to the English language. His name is Burham, in the next semester he left us and the Teachers' Training College Mataram he chose to teach in primary schools. Not only Burham who left the campus but was followed by other friends. There were reasoned work, get married, there is even a shortage co`sts are paid well and able, but his parents did not attend college well. Next I had a tenant named Anditta Maulidya Safitri I was very impressed with him, initially he was wrong majored but there some reason on their min. he is to be able to finish my studies well there is no reason in the wrong direction. From many of my friends in the class they have a variety of properties, there is a smart, quiet, more active, talkative, intelligent debate, smart memorize. Now I've been in half to five, where the top half and we should be forced to work hard with a lot of tasks and must fully use the English language. Talking about teachers, we have professors with different characters, for example, there is a firm, gentle against the student, cools, easy going against the student. Still, of all the main purpose of a teacher is to give knowledge and instill how to be educators. Our greatest hope is hopefully we can graduate on time and get a job quickly.

TEACHING MEDIA

            Talking about grammar absolutely we think hard. Grammar is the whole system and structure of a language or of languages in general, usually taken as consisting of syntax and morphology (including inflections) and sometimes also phonology and semantics. Many people know grammar is difficult thing. But all of the URL helps the teacher to know how to make interesting when they are teaching grammar. In the class room the students will bored when they hear material about grammar. Here the teacher should be teach step by step start from the low level until high level, before that the teacher should be introduce like subject and object followed by the introduction of the vocabulary that include verb, adverb, adjective, noun and soon.
 Don’t forget to use like game to overcome students bored.

             Television as a means of connecting that can emit a recording of a television transmitter station to the audience or viewers at home, these records may include education, news, entertainment, and others. Are cognitive benefits is related to science or information and skills. Events that is cognitive in between news, dialogues, interviews and so on. The second benefit is the affective benefits, namely with regard to attitudes and emotions. Events normally occurring affective benefits are events that encourage viewers to have social sensitivity, concern for fellow human beings and so on. The third benefit is a benefit that is psychomotor, which is associated with positive actions and behavior. This event can be seen from the movies, soap operas, plays and other events with all the requirements do not conflict with the norms that exist in Indonesia or deprave in children.
Educational television is not just entertaining but more important is to educate. Television is only able to present a single communication. Television when the broadcast will continue and there is no opportunity to understand messages according to the individual abilities of students. Teachers do not have the opportunity to revise the film before it was broadcast. Screen television sets are not able to reach a large class making it difficult for all students to see detailed pictures broadcast. Fears emerged that the student does not have a personal relationship with teachers, and students may be passive during delivery. We can begin to make a plan with the idea that comes to mind might indicate our  interest .An  idea that we have, but more useful idea is the idea of ​​dealing with the needs of a group of students, for example, a group of more skilled than just change knowledge and attitudes ,

 Meaning that this media very important, because the teacher will be not focusing to white board but here the teacher will focus on power point. The teacher not uses more time to write the material in white or black board. In their house the teacher can prepare the material for teaching tomorrow, will be design more interesting to students. 
            Media Power Point now been widely used in the teaching process in schools especially in the lecture. Today many universities provide teaching facilities using Power Point media         to make it easier for teachers to convey the material to be delivered so that the teaching is     not boring.
            the rest is again stated that the power point makes it difficult to understand the lesson,      usually can be caused by factors: the material presented less detailed, slides were shown   too quickly change, and slides were shown not attractive or less innovative.
